Named after Lord John Ligonier, Field Marshal for the British Army during the French and Indian War, Ligonier is home to Fort Ligonier - a full-scale reconstruction of the 1758 original. Quaint shops and restaurants encircle an historic bandstand in downtown Ligonier, collectively known as "The Diamond." Visitors to Ligonier enjoy festivities such as Fort Ligonier Days, the Ligonier Ice Fest and Sunday Evening Band Concerts.

From Pittsburgh
Take Route 376 East towards Monroeville. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to exit #9 at Donegal. Turn left onto Route 31 North. Turn left onto Route 711 North. Travel 10 miles to Ligonier.

From Greensburg
Take Route 30 East towards Latrobe and Ligonier. Turn left onto Route 711 North. Travel 0.5 miles to Ligonier.

From Johnstown
Take Route 271 West towards Ligonier. Turn left onto Route 711 South. Travel 2.5 miles to Ligonier.
