EAGLE, Colo. -- The new Adam's Rib Ranch resort and residential community outside of Vail Colo., will feature an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf, resort officials have announced.
The cornerstone of the community will be a 300-acre Weiskopf design that is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2007. The course, in the heart of the Vail Valley, will feature eight man-made lakes, a driving range, practice chipping and putting areas, and 10 holes play around or are adjacent to water.
Open to both residents and non-residents, golf membership will not be contingent on real estate ownership and will allow for 390 total memberships as well as access to all clubhouse and golf course amenities.
"This will be a truly memorable course to play. It will challenge both expert and novice alike, with holes that are both spectacular in nature and forgiving in play," said Weiskopf. "I have never believed in one signature hole. Each hole is individually unique from every other."
In addition to the golf course, Adam's Mountain Country Club will boast a 40,471-square-foot clubhouse with views of surrounding mountain peaks. Home to a fine restaurant and bar, veranda, a 3,200-square-foot fitness/spa area and a full service gift/golf shop, the clubhouse will be the epicenter of the community. Also offered will be a members only dining room, lounge, men's and women's locker rooms, cart storage, snack bar as well as a cafe.
Nestled in a private valley outside of Eagle, Adam's Rib Ranch is an exclusive community that sits upon 1,662 acres of pristine land, offering spacious homesites and panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Along with the golf facility, the community features personalized concierge service and mountain recreation, as it is surrounded by acres of federal wild lands, access to an equestrian center and fly-fishing with entree to miles of rolling creeks.
Adam's Rib Ranch, being developed by Fred Kummer, the founder of Denver's largest hotel, is an exclusive resort community offering 99 homesites stretching over 1600 acres.
