PUERTO PENASCO, Mexico -- Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community has opened the first 18-hole championship golf course in Puerto Penasco (known by many as Rocky Point). The Links at Las Palomas is an authentic seaside links golf course designed by Phoenix-based Forrest Richardson and Associates.

Carved from seaside dunes beside the Sea of Cortez, a round at The Links meanders over and around hillocks and lagoons. The course is designed to be fun and challenging for players of all skill levels and ages.

Las Palomas recently held a private grand opening ceremony and tournament for members and dignitaries, including Sonora Governor Eduardo Bours Castelo. The Links at Las Palomas is now open to play for members and their guests, Platinum Card holders and their guests, Las Palomas homeowners, and guests of the Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort.

The Links at Las Palomas Golf Club is the centerpiece of the 350-acre Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community in Puerto Penasco. Golfers can reserve luxury ocean-view lodging through the Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort. Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community is developed jointly by U.S.-based Abigail Properties L.L.C. and The Worldwide Group, S.A. de C.V., a Mexican corporation.
