EXUMA, BAHAMAS -- Grand Isle Villas, a new seaside residential golf resort, has opened on the island of Great Exuma in the Bahamas. The new community of 72 ocean and golf course villas is located within the 500-acre Four Seasons Resort at Emerald Bay.

The resort offers activities including golf on its Greg Norman-designed golf course. The 6,880-yard, par-72 layout offers undulating bunkers and expansive ocean vistas from virtually every hole. The course includes a full-service golf shop, and a clubhouse is planned.

The resort also features sailing, swimming, charter fishing and exploring the many nearby uninhabited cays. Complimentary waters sports are also included and pampering at the nearby spa can be arranged. A mega-yacht harbor is also available for arrivals by sea, and a boutique casino is scheduled to open in 2006.

Grand Isle Villas offers two- and three-bedroom villas, which are available for purchase or rental. The resort provides twice-daily housekeeping, au pair service and golf carts to use around the resort, and pairs guests with a personal concierge to arrange dining, either privately in the villas or at one of the several nearby restaurants.
