Sienkowski is named the new PGA of America Director of Education

Kelly Sienkowski's duties include the overseeing of all aspects of PGA Education and working with the 41 PGA Sections.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Kelly Sienkowski of New Lenox, Ill. has been named The PGA of America's Director of Education. She began her duties on Sept. 17, at the PGA Education Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

In her new position, Sienkowski is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PGA Education, including scheduling and conducting of seminars for PGA Member Education, PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Programs, PGA/PGM University Programs, the PGA Certified Professional Program and the PGA Master Professional Program. She also works with the 41 geographical PGA Sections on their education programs and makes recommended changes to apprentice training and member education.

Sienkowski is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a B.S. and M.S. Ed in Instructional Design. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate doing her dissertation in Instructional Technology at Southern Illinois.

Sienkowski has extensive experience in corporate education, educational development, educational technology and distance learning. She has managed large groups of cross-functional teams as well as teaching in a classroom environment and has spent 17 years in online and distributed learning.

From 1997 to 2000, she worked with Cardean University as a Curriculum Developer. In 2003, she took a position as Program Manager with Education Management Corporate-Online Higher Education division designing, developing and managing online courses and program creation.

Kelly recently relocated to Florida with her husband, Duke, and her six children.
