PGA Learning Center presents Demo Day under the lights on Saturday

The nighttime event for all golf enthusiasts will showcase the latest golf equipment and apparel from top industry manufacturers.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The PGA Learning Center, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., ranked by Golf Odyssey as the top golf practice facility in Florida, will hold the first-ever 'Golf Demo Day Extravaganza Under the Lights,' with something for every golf enthusiast in the family this Saturday night, Nov. 10, 2007, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

During Golf Demo Day Extravaganza Under The Lights, golfers have a special opportunity to be custom fit for the latest in equipment from some of golf's foremost manufacturers and distributors -- Callaway Golf, Ping, Srixon, TaylorMade and Titleist/Cobra. Callaway Golf will also have its Tour Van on-hand to custom fit and build clubs for participants on the spot.

In addition, top apparel companies including Adidas, Ahead, Antigua and Cutter & Buck will be on-site for you to discover the best "equipment for your body." Golf Fitness Magazine fashion expert Auke Hempenius will make a special presentation on the latest trends in golf apparel at 6:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, one male and female in attendance will receive a complete golf makeover, while the selected "best dressed" in the crowd will receive a new golf outfit. This is the first time the PGA Learning Center has presented both equipment and apparel in a Demo Days setting and also marks the first Demo Day it has staged under the stars.

"From equipment to apparel, The PGA Learning Center's 'Golf Demo Day Extravaganza Under the Stars' serves as a unique experience into all things golf," said Bob Baldassari, PGA general manager of The PGA Learning Center, part of The PGA Golf Club, which is ranked as one of the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" by Golf Digest. "This is a one-of-a-kind event where golfers can discover the latest in everything from golf clubs to accessories to fashion in a dramatic nighttime setting, which is something the most ardent of golf enthusiasts, as well as the whole family can enjoy."

"Golf Demo Day Extravaganza Under the Lights is a showcase of the latest in equipment product testing and custom club-fitting technology for serious golfers, as well as a springboard for those seeking an early start on holiday apparel gifts for the golf lover on their shopping lists," said Eric Hogge, PGA head professional of the PGA Learning Center.
