PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- CMC Golf, a custom gift company that stands today as the top supplier of custom bag tags and repair tools worldwide, has become the newest Supporting Partner of Golf Retirement Plus.
Founded in 1986 and with headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz., CMC began to out-source and sell a custom metal product line. In 1993, the company began manufacturing high quality cast metal items in-house, and two years later, began selling metal bag tags and accessories to the high-end golf course and resort industry.
Following the 2003 introduction of the Custom Logo Program, CMC Golf has achieved the same leadership status in the event gift category. Through the program, CMC forms an effective partnership with its customers. The company commits to at-once shipment of more than 150 unique custom logo gifts with a forecast from participating accounts.
"The PGA of America is proud to have CMC Golf, a company that has evolved with the advances of the game and joins a quality family of partners in Golf Retirement Plus," said PGA of America President Brian Whitcomb. "CMC Golf has repeatedly stepped forward to serve many segments of the golf industry by promoting quality service and providing satisfaction to its customers."
CMC Golf was sold in 2003 to an investment group and moved its headquarters to accommodate more than 50 employees. In 2005, CMC Golf opened an office and warehouse in the United Kingdom to service Europe.
"The PGA Professional is the backbone of our business," said CMC Golf President Bob Burg. "All of us at CMC Golf are so proud to become a Supporting Partner to Golf Retirement Plus."
