23 days to go! In just 23 days, the 31st edition of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Professional Championship will return to The PGA Golf Club for the 12th consecutive year. The 120-man field will consist of the Assistant Champions from each of the 41 PGA Sections, Section qualifiers, the defending Champion and a representative from the PGA of Australia, The Professional Golfers' Association (Great Britain) and the Canadian PGA. The winner of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Professional Championship will collect $9,000 of the $100,000 purse and the low PGA apprentice will be invited to participate in the 2008 Australian PGA National Futures Championship. The Champion, if eligible, will earn a berth in the 41st PGA Professional National Championship, June 19-22, 2008, at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.
