LJC Golf (formerly La Jolla Club Golf Company) is introducing a new demo program for Green Grass Accounts for its popular line of Knife fairway woods.
"The Knife is such a versatile club that we feel it's important for golfers to try it," said LJC Golf President Paul Herber. "Once a golfer tries the Knife, he or she sees how it works and how it can benefit their game. After that, the tough decision becomes whether to buy just one Knife or several."
Herber said the new demo program features a staff bag display that holds nine of the new Knife Fairway Woods. All displays include three demo Knifes: a 5-wood with a stiff shaft, a 7-wood with a men's regular shaft, and a 9-wood with a ladies shaft. The remaining six Knifes, Herber said, can be purchased in any combination.
Herber said the Knife metal woods (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) feature a never-before-seen set of three blades on the club sole coupled with a low center of gravity. The design, according to Herber, arms golfers with unmatched stability, accuracy and even distance in a variety of shot-making conditions.
Herber said the two outside blades act as outriggers, stabilizing the club head through the swing, even through twist-producing rough while the center blade acts as a rudder for straightness.
Together, Herber said, the blades also work to keep the sole from touching the ground. Herber said the Knife's design places 60 percent of the club weight below the equator, making the club more forgiving and versatile. Each Knife metal wood has a suggested retail price of $249.
