Adams Golf (NASDAQSC: ADGO) is debuting its new line Redline Drivers and Fairway Woods, company officials have announced. As the name implies, the Redline Driver features a 460cc clubhead, titanium construction that takes its coefficient of restitution (COR) right up to the U.S. Golf Association-allowed .830 limit, and tungsten perimeter weighting.
"Adams Golf is the first premium equipment company to introduce a 460cc driver with the precise mass properties that deliver this kind of distance, forgiveness and accuracy," said company Chairman Barney Adams.
The new Redline Fairway Woods, according to Adams Golf, features super-thin titanium walls that allow for the strategic placement of 90 grams of weight in the heel and toe. Their tungsten perimeter weighting provides up to 59 percent more MOI.
The Redline Driver comes equipped with a 60-gram proprietary Fujikura graphite shaft, and the fairway woods contain 75-gram Fujikura shafts.
The Redline Drivers are available in lofts of 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degrees, in both right- and left-handed models The fairway woods are available in lofts of 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21 degrees in both right- and left-handed models.
The drivers carry a suggested retail price of $349.95, while the woods will retail for $299.95 per club.
