FootJoy is incorporating what it said is "the newest technologies" into its popular StaSof glove line. "The new StaSof glove is perfection reborn," said Maria Bonzagni, FootJoy's Senior Director of Marketing for Gloves & Accessories. "In development for over two years, the very best leather technology has been engineered to create a StaSof glove that is extremely soft yet has incredible gripping power." According to Bonzagni, StaSof features a powerful new performance grip, courtesy of Taction Advanced Performance Leather, exclusively tanned by Pittards of England. Taction, Bonzagni said, is fashioned from Cabretta leather so perfect that the tour professionals who've tried StaSof report that it feels "lighter," like a "second skin," and grips even better. A new slanted ComforTab closure and extended Velcro fastener, Bonzagni said, provide a precision fit, while a Coolmax Lycra insert across the knuckles increases the overall comfort and fit.
