With an emphasis on strength, athleticism, beauty and performance, Nike Golf has expanded its Fall/Holiday '03 Women's Collection by introducing pieces that include the new Dri-FIT Pro Skirt and by streamlining the top-selling Dri-FIT Cropped Pant and the Long-Sleeve Dri-FIT UV Tech Polo.
"All of these styles were designed in response to feedback from extensive wear testing and the thoughts of Grace Park from Nike Golf's Tour Staff," said Christine Cowan, Nike Golf's Product Line Manager for Women's Apparel. "We've integrated Nike's exclusive performance-based fabrications with an elegant silhouette, enabling women golfers to be comfortable and look good at the same time."
Cowan said all three garments utilize one of Nike's exclusive technical fabrications -- Dri-FIT -- that transports moisture from the skin to the fabric's surface for rapid evaporation, keeping golfers cool and comfortable for the entire round. In addition, Cowan said the fabrics are UV protective, providing a minimum of SPF 40. The skirt and cropped pant also feature Nike's Stretch version of Dri-FIT (or Stretch Dri-FIT) for comfort, style and flexibility.
The Dri-FIT Pro Skirt is a new style for the women's collection, and it offers an A-line pleated skirt with busted princess seams at the front and back. A lightweight, stretch Dri-FIT woven under short provides extra comfort and coverage. The new skirt style also features two single welt-pockets at the right front hip and right back scorecard pocket.
The Dri-FIT Cropped Pant, which Cowan said is one of the Women's Collection's top sellers, has been streamlined to feature a flat-front pant with busted princess seams front and back, along with stylish stitch detail and a flattering side zipper with button enclosure.
The Dri-FIT Pro Skirt carries a suggested retail price of $58; the Dri-FIT cropped pant has a SRP of $60; and the Long Sleeve Tech Polo has a SRP of $65.
