The Blue Label collection and Montego Mon line highlight Dockers Golf's 2005 Spring and Fall lines golf apparel as the company continues to expand its product offerings and its account base, which is now nearly 2,000 green grass shops and off-course stores. "Our bookings for Spring '05 are very strong" across the board, Dockers Golf President Barnum Mow told PGA.com. "And we've gotten a huge response to Blue Label. It's a little narrower silhouette and a little more updated color treatment than you find in the basic Dockers line." The Dockers Golf Blue Label line, Mow said, features 80 triple mercerized yarns that create a brilliant sheen, luster and hand feel. "The detailing in the shirts is very good," Mow said. Montego Mon, designed by Dockers Golf Vice President of Design Dave Roderick, is the company's silk shirt line, and carries retail prices that average between $40-60 per shirt. "We taken that line up five more notches and incorporated a lot of value into it. The weights of our silks are much heavier," Mow said. "We don't see as many prints any more; things are more subdued -- more tonal and a lot of textured surfaces. That's seems to be where the action is." Mow also has expanded the Montego Mon line to include shorts, jackets, swimming trunks, golf towels and even sandals. "It's a full off-course lifestyle look that everybody seems to like," Mow said.
