Chamber Made

The soles of the new CG11 wedges from Cleveland Golf are wider toward the heel and toe than on the previous CG10 models. This creates what company officials call a unique stability chamber to help maintain club head control.

Cleveland Golf's new CG11 wedges feature a slightly larger sole that is wider toward the heel and toe and narrows in the center compared to the original CG10 wedges.

The CG11's weight is redistributed to the perimeter of the club head creating a unique stability chamber, company officials said, which helps golfers maintain their club head stability through impact, even on off-center hits.

As with all wedges in the CG line, Cleveland said, the CG11 wedges come with precision milled grooves to give players the best possible spin control. The new wedges, according to Cleveland, are also offered with low-, standard- and high-bounce options, permitting players of all levels to customize their wedges.

Available to ship Oct. 3, the CG11 wedges will carry a suggested retail price of $141 (steel) and $166 (graphite).
