Adams Golf (NASDAQ: ADGO) Director of Tour Operations and veteran club designer Max Puglielli has put his name on the company's latest wedge. The Puglielli Wedge is now available in two models -- Sweep and Steep.

Each wedge, according to Adams Golf, has a traditional teardrop shape, a Fly Cut face for more consistent shots with high spin and are CNC milled grooves for better control and accuracy

"I created my first wedge in 1982," Puglielli said. "This creation came after many years of club fitting at the Hank Haney Ranch and watching golfers struggle with their wedges. I discovered how small changes in the angles of the sole, leading edge and face progression affected the hitting ease of each shot."

The Sweep model, Puglielli said, features classic loft and bounce combinations for players that don't take deep divots and is available in lofts of 52, 56 and 60 degrees. The Steep, Puglielli said, features more aggressive loft and bounce combinations for players that take deep divots and/ or prefer a lower ball flight and is available in lofts of 54 and 58 degrees.

Each wedge carries a suggested retail price of $149.99.
